Amsterdam, Netherlands, August 24, 2018 - Two teams will represent the Netherlands at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina from October 7 to 17. Yorick de Groot and Matthew Immers will participate in the men's competition and Raisa Schoon and Emi van Driel will represent the European country in the women's tournament.
Quick links - Beach volleyball:De Groot and Immers will play at the Youth Olympic Games following their participation in the Youth Continental Cup, in which they played a preliminary round in 2017 and a final in 2018. Schoon and van Driel did not secure their place via the Youth Continental Cup but earned a silver at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships in Nanjing, China in July 2018.
