Buenos Aires is the capital and the largest city of Argentina.
Argentina has always held a strong affinity with volleyball, with Buenos Aires providing the backdrop to two Men’s World Championships in 1982 and 2002. The country has also hosted three World League Finals, Mar Del Plata welcoming the 1999 and 2013 editions with Cordoba hosting the 2010 tournament.
The South American country has also hosted its fair share of beach volleyball tournaments, with World Tour events taking place in Buenos Aires (2005) Mar Del Plata (1998, 1999 and 2000), Corrientes (2013) and Parana (2014).
