Aruba Girls and Boys to represent CAZOVA at YOG

 
Oranjestad, Aruba, July 8, 2018 - The CAZOVA (Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association) Youth Olympic Games Beach Volleyball Qualifier was completed at Eagle Beach, Oranjestad in Aruba this weekend with the local women's team making easy work of their opponents in the final.

Aruba defeated Haiti 2-0 (21-14, 21-6) to claim victory and a spot for the country at the Argentina Youth Olympic Games in October 2018.

Women - Final Ranking:
1. Aruba
2. Haiti
3. Trinidad and Tobago
4. Suriname
5. Jamaica
6. US Virgin Islands



In the men's competition, Aruba also claimed gold by defeating Trinidad and Tobago in the final 2-0 (21-19, 21-18). The victory secures Aruba a spot in the men's competition at the Youth Olympic Games later this year.
