The four teams that will take part are Bautista Amieva and Alvaro Navarro, Abel Longaric and Tomas Diaz Fassano, Bautista Gazaba and Mauro Zelayeta, Ignacio Dagostino and Luciano Vicentin.

“We have brought in eight players because we want to develop the best teams possible for the Youth Olympic Games,” Baracetti said. “The idea is to give them more experience and learn all they can to develop their games.

“With these training camps we are looking to train, teach and engage the boys so that they are able to compete at provincial, national and continental level tournaments.”

The camp will begin on November 21 and will run for five days. It is the fourth camp the FeVA have held and follows the last one which took place in La Rioja.

Buenos Aires will host the Youth Olympic Games from October 1-6. It is the third edition of the Youth Games and the second in which beach volleyball will feature after its successful introduction at Nanjing 2014.

In Buenos Aires beach volleyball will take place in the Palermo area of the city.
